Link Asset Services Trainee Recruitment Day | A-Level Students, undergraduates or anyone looking for a career change | Link Asset Services Trainee Recruitment Day is being held at their offices, 12 Castle Street, from 11.00 am on Friday 6 July. This event would be a great opportunity for any A-level students, undergraduates or alternatively those who are looking for a career change and are interested in financial services. Careers in Finance… Unwrapped | Students, school leavers, undergraduates and career switchers | Jersey Finance will be hosting a ‘Finance Fayre’ in December, supported by Skills Jersey. This festive, engaging event will bring together students, school leavers, undergraduates and career switchers with Member firms on Saturday 8 December, Parade Gardens. You will be able to exhibit at the event and promote career opportunities to the general public. Please register. |

Young Enterprise Learn to Earn Programme | Year 10 | Learn to Earn is a programme designed to help year 10 students understand the relationship between learning and the achievement of personal lifestyle goals. |
Young Enterprise Company Programme | Year 12 | Opportunity for year 12 students from all secondary schools and Highlands College to experience the reality of starting a business, under the guidance of mentors from local organisations. |
Trident work experience | Year 10/11 | A unique opportunity to experience working life while still at school. |
Undergraduate internship schemes | Undergraduates | Various internship programmes during your university summer holidays. |
Advance to Work | 16-24 year olds | An employment scheme offered for 16 to 24 year olds who are not in full time education. |
Advance Plus Schemes | Unemployed adults (aged 20+) | Advance Plus is an employment scheme designed to make it easier for you to find a job. For finance sector, it offers training courses in specific areas such as: fund and trust administration and business and office administration. |

Shadowing Programme | Target Group | Description |
Institute of Directors (IOD) work shadowing scheme | Year 12/13 | The scheme offers a unique opportunity to ‘shadow’ a director, senior executive or manager in business or industry for one week, usually during the school summer holidays. |
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) work shadowing scheme | Year 12 and above | The scheme offers a unique opportunity to ‘shadow’ a marketing professional for up to one week, during the school / university holidays. |
