Jersey trust company, Alex Picot Trust, has announced the appointment of Solange Rebours to the new role of Operations Manager.
An experienced trust professional, Miss Rebours, joined Alex Picot Trust in 2002 and now holds the dual role of Operations Manager and Senior Trust Officer. She will continue to manage a team of trust and company administrators, while providing direct support to the directors in the day-to-day management of the business. Her increased responsibilities include; management information reporting; process improvement; organisation of workflows; internal communications and human resources; and the production of operating and compliance reports. She will also lead projects such as preparing for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) next year.

Miss Rebours has worked at Alex Picot Trust since 2002 and in total has over 32 years offshore finance industry experience. She was educated in Jersey and has an Open University degree in English Language and Literature. She holds the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP).
Miss Rebours has been involved in Girlguiding since the age of 10 and as an Adult Leader progressed to hold the key voluntary roles of District Commissioner and Island Commissioner. In 2011, she took on the role of South West Region Chief Commissioner, a role which she held for 5 years. She continues to be actively involved and is currently Director of that Charity’s Trust Corporation.
