Jersey Finance stands beside Government and fully supports the statement regarding the situation in Ukraine issued on Tuesday 1 March.

The Jersey Financial Services Commission are co-ordinating efforts to keep our industry updated through a series of communications and webinars which will be ongoing and reactive to changing events, and at Jersey Finance we will of course continue to support this effort over the coming weeks and ensure you are kept informed as the situation develops.

On 28 February 2022 the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office updated the UK Sanctions List to reflect changes to those persons designated under the UK Regulations.

The Bailiff’s Ukraine fund has been set up to allow members of the public to make donations to help in the efforts to support Jersey’s response to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

Cyber Emergency Response Team

Jersey’s Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT) have issued a letter in relation to malicious cyber activity. CERT believe that the risk to Jersey has significantly increased and the focus of attention is likely to be on public service organisations, financial services, critical infrastructure and support infrastructure – most notably professional services organisations.
