Based in Jersey, William will have responsibility for several key client relationships in Crestbridge’s Real Estate Services team and across the wider business, including sitting as a director on client entity boards. As a senior member of the real estate services team, William will report directly to the Jersey head of the real estate team, Erin Moffat, and assume shared responsibility for the day-to-day running of the team and the continued growth of the business.

With a career in the real estate sector spanning 13 years, William moves to Crestbridge from Intertrust where most recently he was a Client Director. He started his career at Ogier Fiduciary, and worked his way through the business, the management buy-out to Elian and the following acquisition by Intertrust.

He has significant experience of holding directorships for a number of client entities, and of working with complex multi-jurisdictional real estate transactions and structures, including debt refinancing and restructuring, new acquisitions, asset disposals, insolvency proceedings and the raising of equity through a variety of vehicles. As well as having deep technical knowledge of real estate structuring and governance, William has also previously had responsibility for implementing business development strategies.

Simon Todd, Group Head of Real Estate Services at Crestbridge, said:

“The modern real estate landscape requires a hugely diverse range of expertise and in William we have someone joining our senior team with real international experience and a great technical understanding of the sector. He also shares our commitment as a business to delivering high quality service and building long lasting relationships in order to help our clients realise success.

“As we anticipate an uptick in real estate investment activity this year in the UK post-Brexit and in key international markets, there’s no doubt that William’s expertise will add real strength to our global proposition.”
