The globalisation of wealth as well as the evolution of philanthropic and socially responsible investing (SRI) will be main themes at Jersey Finance’s Annual London Private Wealth Conference on  26 September.

This week’s fully subscribed event, to be held at 8 Northumberland Avenue, London, will see hundreds of delegates from across the private wealth and financial services sphere attend to hear from experts and well-known public figures.

One of two panel sessions ‘The Globalisation of Wealth’ will pose the question about how the wealth management sector can navigate challenges such as technological and cultural shifts to build better and more secure futures for their clients. The second, ‘The Evolution of Giving Back’, will look at how SRI is steadily becoming a key component of a wealth management portfolio for a new generation of investors.

In addition, the conference will feature Andrew Marr – host of  ‘The Andrew Marr Show’ and presenter of Radio 4’s ‘Start The Week’ – as keynote speaker, and Matthew Syed – world-leading author, thinker and expert on high performance, talent and mindsets – as endnote speaker.

Commenting ahead of the conference, Joe Moynihan, Chief Executive Officer Jersey Finance said:

“This year’s private wealth conference comes at an incredibly interesting time for wealth management professionals and wealthy individuals looking to set their affairs in the right order. With rapidly evolving technology and innovation within the private wealth sector, as well as a brand new generation of clients who are looking for a more wholesome wealth management plan, it’s clear the sector needs to be very much ahead of these developments. I’m certain that our panellists as well as the compelling keynote and endnote speakers will make for a thought-provoking afternoon of discussion and I look forward to seeing everyone there.”
