Jersey Finance Honoured to Participate at Islamic Banking and Finance Conference in Bahrain
Jersey Finance’s Faizal Bhana, Director – Middle East, Africa, and India, attended The Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) and Islamic Development Bank (IsDB)’s 17th Annual Islamic Banking and Finance Conference in Bahrain last week.
The theme of the conference was “Economic Resilience and Governance in Disruptive Times”, and over 500 delegates and 30 speakers from across the globe attended the event.
Faizal, our senior lead on Shari’a compliant finance, was honoured to join an expert panel titled: ‘Enhancing Economic Resilience: Opportunities for Integration of Social Finance with Islamic Commercial Finance’.
