For the first time in five years, Jersey Finance, alongside Withersworldwide, hosted an exclusive networking event in Mumbai, India, attended by more than 30 Mumbai-based family businesses, advisors and other key intermediaries in the financial services ecosystem.
Invited guests were treated to a keynote address from the ‘M&A King of India’, Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas – India’s leading law firm.
Led by Faizal Bhana, Jersey Finance’s Director for the Middle East, Africa and India, and Partners from Withersworldwide: Claire Harris and Jennifer Canavan, the event highlighted the growing ties between the finance, advisory and professional services sectors in the city of London, Jersey and Mumbai– with Jersey often recognised as a gateway to the UK, Europe and the Middle East for Indian family businesses and families.
