Following Jersey Finance’s acceptance as a Member of the World Alliance of International Finance Centers (WAIFC) in October 2022, our CEO, Joe Moynihan, was very pleased to have been presented with an official WAIFC certificate of membership.
Dr Jochen Biedermann, Managing Director of WAIFC, presented the certificate as part of the Board Meeting and Extraordinary General Meeting of WAIFC in London hosted by TheCityUK, which took place last week (19 April).
Established in 2018, WAIFC is a strategic initiative and non-profit association registered in Brussels that represents leading international financial centres, and facilitates cooperation between financial centers, the exchange of best practices, and communication with the general public. The meeting also saw EnterpriseNGR being admitted as a new member representing the Lagos Financial Center, taking the total membership to 20 members from across the globe.
