We recently hosted three roundtables in London that focussed on private wealth trends in Asia, Africa and the Gulf Region.

The first roundtable was held on 18 July and was hosted by Robert Moore, Director – UK at Jersey Finance, at Coutts Private Bank on the Strand in London, which was attended by more than 30 London-based intermediaries.

It focussed on the Chinese private wealth sector, and was also attended by Maria McDermott, Business Development Consultant for Asia, and Yiow Chong Tan, Business Development Director for Singapore, who gave their own regional updates.

The second roundtable was hosted at the offices of Burges Salmon in London on 19 July. This roundtable was also hosted by Robert Moore, and was attended by 20 London-based intermediaries.

This roundtable focussed on the African private wealth sector and was opened with regional updates from Jersey Finance’s Global Head of Business Development, Allan Wood, and Director – Middle East, Africa and India, Faizal Bhana.

The final roundtable, a breakfast roundtable hosted on 20 July at Gateley in London, was hosted by Jersey Finance’s Director – Middle East, Africa and India, Faizal Bhana, and focussed on the private wealth sector within the Gulf Region.
