Jersey, April 18, 2024 – UBS Global Wealth Management today announced that six of their staff have been promoted to Directorial roles.

Helen Ollivro has been promoted from Executive Director to Managing Director. She has been with UBS Jersey for 17 years. Helen started her career in financial services in 1996. She joined UBS in 2007 as Associate Director and Client Advisor in Financial Intermediaries and became Head of Financial Intermediaries for Jersey and the UK in 2020. In 2023, Helen won a Gold Award for Women of the Year Jersey 2023 at Citywealth’s Power Women Awards and sits on the Advisory Board of The Diversity Network in Jersey.

Tim Dunn has been promoted from Director to Executive Director. He has over 27 years of experience in the offshore financial sector. Tim has been with UBS in Jersey for 10 years, holding roles such as Operating Head and Head of Business Risk. Prior to UBS, he spent 17 years at RBS International as Director of Corporate Services based in Jersey. Tim graduated from Surrey University and RMA Sandhurst and is a qualified Project and Risk Manager.

Lyndsey McGillivray has been promoted from Director to Executive Director. She has been at UBS since 2017, starting as an Associate Director, before being promoted to Director in 2021. Lyndsey has worked in the trust industry for 24 years, having worked for Coutts and Highvern for just over 17 years. Lyndsey obtained a STEP diploma in 2010, becoming a member of STEP in May 2010.

Rebecca Chambers Ahier has been promoted from Associate Director to Director and is currently Jersey’s Quality Desk Team Lead. She has 16 years’ experience in the industry, starting at UBS in June 2021.

Rebecca has previously worked in front and middle office roles for both large multinational and smaller independently owned companies within the Trust and Investment industry. She holds a BSc in Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London.

Rhys Johansen has been promoted from Authorized Officer to Associate Director. He has 10 years of experience in the sector and has been with UBS for 5 and a half years. After finishing at Hautlieu School, Rhys worked at RBC for 5 years in a number of roles as part of the investments team, leaving Jersey in 2016 to travel. In 2018 Rhys joined UBS in the operations team and has previously held a position in the Trust Administration Team.

Claire O’Connor has been promoted from Authorized Officer to Associate Director. Claire has worked at UBS for 21 years, with 29 years of overall experience in the industry. She started her career in Finance at ABN Amro and was based in their Treasury Department. After 3 years she moved to RBC, starting off in Treasury, and then headed up the Reconciliation & Control Team. In 2003 Claire joined UBS in the Operations team, specializing in the Securities business. Claire sits on the Service Support & Governance desk within Global Wealth Management (GWM) Operations Jersey.
