Quilter Cheviot’s Jersey office has expanded its team to help service growing client demand and develop its offering to the international markets. The office, which already operates one of the largest discretionary investment management teams in Jersey, has hired investment manager Lee Morris.

Lee is a chartered wealth manager with over 15 years’ experience within investment banking and portfolio management.  He joins the firm as an investment director and will focus on the fixed interest markets as well as on international activities.

Lee joins Quilter Cheviot from investment firm Smith and Williamson International where he was a director of investment management. He was previously a senior investment manager at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management.

Commenting on his appointment, Lee said, “Quilter Cheviot has an excellent and long-standing reputation within the Channel Islands and is known for providing high-quality investment management expertise as well as exceptional levels of client service. I’m thrilled to be joining such a creditable and experienced team.”

He will report to Tim Childe, head of Quilter Cheviot’s Jersey Office and head of International. Tim said, “The appointment of Lee will help strengthen what is an already an exceptionally robust team here in Jersey and help us to grow our client base. I am delighted to welcome him on board”.

Quilter Cheviot’s Jersey team operates from its office on The Parade in St Helier. The team manages assets on behalf of private clients, trusts and professional intermediaries in the Channel Islands, the UK and Dubai.
