Following last year’s Saudi Arabia Financial Crime Risk Assessment Roundtable – In partnership with Themis, we have been working with the Government of Jersey, the JFSC and Themis to design a workshop, with practical exercises that may benefit Jersey Finance Members in their country risk profiling.
Therefore, we are delighted to have hosted in partnership with Themis, a Saudi Arabia Financial Crime Country Risk Workshop, which focussed on the practical approach to conducting country risk assessments.
As understanding financial crime risk is a cornerstone of the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism, this workshop, attended by 45 representatives of Jersey firms, provided insightful and practical exercises for Jersey Finance Member firms who conduct business in Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region.
