After what has seemed like a long 18 months, I am delighted that we have just held our first ‘in-person’ event since the start of the pandemic, welcoming our guests back to our annual private wealth flagship event in London. This event will shortly be followed by several other physical events around the globe and the commencement of international travel by our Business Development team to some of our other key markets.

While of course we have successfully adapted over the past year-and-a-half – turning to virtual events alongside digital meetings and communications – it is nonetheless a pleasure for me and our regional directors in our key target markets in the UK, Europe, the Gulf region, Asia, Africa, India, and the US to be meeting up with our key contacts and partners once again, and we look forward to continuing to broaden and deepen those relationships in the coming months.

Looking ahead to the final quarter of the year, our activity continues apace with events such as our Funds Masterclasses, Private Wealth and Family Office seminars, STEP Arabia and Asia, plus all planned. Joining our already substantial range of reports published this year, we are finalising research reports and articles on family governance models, Jersey’s private wealth sector, funds governance, Islamic finance wealth management, and sustainable finance and fintech, which will be published before the year-end. If you do not already have an account on our website, please do visit our site and open an account to access this wealth of information – it is both easy to do and free-of-charge.

Additionally, many of our recent events including Global Jersey: International Perspectives, which is our annual day-long series of virtual seminars with participation from speakers all around the world discussing trending topics, are also available to view on-demand from the site.

As always, relationships remain key for me and my team and our unique global representation has enabled us to be able to reinstate business meetings in person as quickly as possible as local restrictions ease, and of course we also remain on hand for virtual meetings, should that be your preference. I would encourage you to get in touch with me or a member of my team at any time if you would like to learn more about Jersey.
