Jersey Finance is proud to be sponsoring the East Africa Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (EAVCA) 2023 annual conference, which celebrates the private capital industry’s journey so far, and looks forward to the industry’s future, through engaging conversations and plenary sessions.

This year marks 10 years of EAVCA’s involvement in building the local private capital industry and stimulating investment in East Africa. The conference marks a decade of transformation, supporting East Africa as a hub for private capital.

Our Director for Middle East, Africa and India, Faizal Bhana, will host a bespoke feature panel session for the conference titled ‘What does the future hold for the funds industry?’ setting the scene and context for discussion throughout the day. Panellists will include partners of law and accountancy firms, fund managers and senior decision-makers from funds, who will share their insights on:

  • digitalisation and the influence of technology on the industry,
  • the evolving role of IFCs and regulation,
