The event, which was hosted by IFI Global CEO Simon Osborn, covered the potential impact of the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) private fund advisor rules both in the US and overseas. It explored who is and who is not in scope, and what it means for fund directors. Finally, it looked at why the SEC wanted to bring in these rules.
