Faizal Bhana › Director – Middle East, Africa and India, Jersey Finance

Faizal is a UK qualified lawyer and for many years has worked and advised, and is a trusted advisor to institutions, corporates and families across the Middle East, Africa and India. Faizal specialises in banking and finance and has advised corporates, family offices and families including on their international investment and holding structures.

Faizal is responsible for developing the strategy for Jersey Finance’s engagement in Africa, the Middle East and India. He is focussed on his key markets, regularly travelling to all these countries, liaising and working with key stakeholders, including public and private institutions, corporates and families, building long-term mutually beneficial relationships.

Paul Tomlinson

Paul Tomlinson Head of Family Office, Altum Group

Paul specialises in establishing and administering trust and fiduciary structures for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and their families from around the World, with particular focus on the UK and the Middle East.
A graduate of Nottingham Trent University with a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies, Paul is also a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He was named on Private Client Practitioners’ list of Top Private Client Professionals under 35 in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and on Citywealth’s Future Leaders of Jersey list in 2013 and has been on the Leaders list since 2015.
As head of the Family Office team, Paul has divisional responsibility for the family office team at Altum.

Alastair Glover

Alastair Glover Partner, Stephenson Harwood LLP

Alastair Glover is a Dubai-based partner and leads Stephenson Harwood's "Band 1 ranked" private wealth practice within the Middle East region. He advises high-net worth individuals and families, family offices and trustees on global estate planning, tax efficient investment structures, assets protection (including prenuptial agreements) and philanthropy.
He has significant experience in international succession planning including regional and international trust and foundation structures, tax advice, immigration, and family governance. Alastair also advises on the use of trusts and foundations in commercial transactions and on employee benefit and pension schemes in the UAE.

Nancy Chien

Nancy is head of Bedell Cristin's International Private Client practice. Nancy is a qualified lawyer in multiple jurisdictions and has over 20 years of experience in advising ultra-high net worth families on family governance as well as succession planning.
Nancy has extensive experience in a wide range of offshore matters in both the private client area as well employee incentive arrangements. Nancy has considerable experience advising ultra-high net worth families, family offices and intermediaries on all aspects of private client structuring including the use of trusts and foundations, as well as related corporate law issues (including where such vehicles are used for philanthropic purposes).
