The event, which attracted more than 40 team entries from Jersey businesses, challenged teams through a series of interactive rounds that tested their senses with questions related to listening, touch, voice recognition, memory and speed.

A team from RBC Wealth Management calling themselves the 'Gaspé Girls' took first place, scoring 75 points out of a possible 110. As winners, the team will have its name engraved on the quiz's perpetual trophy that it is allowed to keep for one year. 'On the Slide Since 2014' from BNP Paribas took second place in a tie-breaker ahead of 'The Missing Links' from Link Asset Services.

The quiz takes place annually in both Jersey and Guernsey as part of Carey Olsen's ongoing charitable support in the Channel Islands.

Counsel Victoria Connolly, who is chairperson of Carey Olsen's Jersey charities committee, said: "The Carey Olsen charity quiz has become a must-attend event in the social calendar of many Jersey businesses over the past five years, and we are extremely grateful to all the firms who support the evening by entering teams and giving so generously in the raffle. It is a really fun event to organise and everybody who takes part has a great time, but the most important thing is that we've once again been able to raise an amazing amount of money for two fantastic local charities."
