Staff at Crestbridge have raised more than £2,700 for the JSPCA Animals’ Shelter through a Christmas hamper competition held at the end of last year.

Between them, staff across the Jersey office created 14 differently themed hampers filled with festive treats, gadgets and generously donated vouchers from local businesses. Two of the hampers, created especially for pets, were donated directly to the JSPCA whilst staff had the opportunity to win the remaining hampers through a raffle which raised £2,720.

A prize was also awarded to the team deemed to have created the best overall hamper, with Debra D’Orleans, the JSPCA’s CEO, choosing an impressive ‘Santa’s Sleigh’ themed hamper as the eventual winner.

Each year, employees at Crestbridge nominate a local charity to support as part of its community engagement programme. The JSPCA is this year’s nominated charity.

Commenting on the initiative, Graeme McArthur, Chief Executive, Crestbridge, said: “Our staff in Jersey got really creative for our Christmas-themed charity fundraiser this year, and I was really impressed with just how enthusiastic and generous they all were too. Each year, staff here are always so passionate about raising money for good, local community causes, and once again they have managed to raise a really impressive sum for a very deserving cause.”
