After an absence of almost three years, the Barclays Jersey Boat Show was ‘back on board’ over the weekend of 10 June to 12 June, in and around St Helier Marina and featuring a multitude of yachts and motor boats, as well as music and entertainment, displays and demonstrations, and over 80 exhibitors.

As the largest free-entry public event in the Channel Islands, attracting in excess of 30,000+ visitors over the three days, the show is an ideal event for us to engage with the local community, and showcase how Jersey’s finance industry continues to make a very positive contribution to Island life and to communities further afield. At this year’s event, we showcased our Jersey for Good – A Sustainable Future initiative to members of the local community, as well as discussing possible career opportunities in the finance industry.

While their grown-ups chatted to members of our team, our younger visitors were entertained with face painting and complimentary goodies, all of which this year had a sustainable theme, such as our plant your own seeds. And of course, no Jersey Finance event would be complete without ‘Ted’, with visitors to our stand getting the chance to win a special edition diamond jubilee Ted of their own to take home.
