Paul started off in working in the finance industry as a pensions administrator in 2003. ‘‘I enjoyed doing the payroll work for clients and tax returns which made me realise that I probably preferred working with numbers. This led to me to move into client accounting functions, which laid the foundations for the wide scope of my role today. I have always enjoyed a challenging and pressured work environment where I can test my abilities by working on the more complex areas.’’

Forward Group, established in 2007, is a fiduciary, fully independent, owner-managed Trust & Company business based in Jersey. Renowned for integrity, discretion and responsible attitudes, their team of experts administer bespoke structures for high net worth and ultra-high net worth private and corporate clients who need skilled assistance with their wealth management and succession planning requirements.

Paul says “I believe in giving Forward Group clients the best possible services and I’m glad my professional journey has reflected this. As a Chartered Certified Account, I can continue giving clients an exemplary accounts provision, bringing in further in-depth knowledge and experience to give them secure support.”

Alun Griffiths, Group Founder, said “Everyone at Forward Group is pleased to see Paul succeed at these exams, and as a Chartered Accountant myself, I understand the amount of work and dedication it takes to succeed at them, especially when your role is based outside of a dedicated accountancy practice. The whole team at Forward sends Paul congratulations on this impressive achievement, which is even more impressive when you consider that he achieved it working in his own time whilst also dealing with his very energetic young son. This is the result of the unwavering effort and dedication to growing as a professional. Paul has always put our clients’ best interests at heart, and with this new accreditation clients old and new can be assured their receiving the best service and highest level of professionalism.”
