Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Limited has moved into larger offices in the heart of Jersey’s Finance district.

The company has moved to Liberation House, providing greater and more modern working environment for its 26 staff based in the Island.

Investec has moved into the fourth floor of the five-storey building which occupies a prominent site in the Island’s prime Finance district.

Andy Smith, Jersey Branch Manager said, “The move has gone extremely well and, as you can imagine, the staff are very happy in these new surroundings. Our team has grown considerably since we launched in Jersey and this office offers an improved working environment. Investec takes the health and wellbeing of its people very seriously and providing them with the right space to work is a priority.

“The move is also indicative of our commitment to Jersey and our ambition to further grow the business in the Island.”

Investec opened its Jersey office 15 years ago with four staff. The new 5,200 square foot office is needed to accommodate the six-fold increase in staff numbers since opening and allow for further team growth.

The new office has been completed to a high specification and offers excellent natural light. Liberation House underwent a major refurbishment in 2020, which saw several significant upgrades and alterations and an improvement in energy efficiency of 30%.
