Standard Bank’s International Fiduciary Services team has once again been named in the eprivateclient Top Trust Companies list.

The eprivateclient Top Trust Companies list identifies the top trust companies across the world. Established in 2019, the annual ranking is based on reputation, quality of service, the past year’s performance, and M&A activity. This year’s list, published in November 2023, again lists Standard Bank as one of the top non-independent trust companies.

Michael Giraud, Head of Standard Bank’s International Fiduciary Services in Jersey, says that recognition on the list is a testament to Standard Bank’s integrity and standing in the industry. “Being listed as a Top Trust Company by eprivateclient for the second consecutive year is appreciated by our team and reflects positively on our commitment to excellence in fiduciary services.”

“Being recognised for our unique offering, which combines the flexibility of a boutique fiduciary provider with the strength and depth of Africa’s largest bank by assets, is particularly gratifying,” Giraud continues. “I am also delighted for our dedicated team, who work diligently to deliver bespoke solutions and exceptional service to our clients.”

Standard Bank has been providing fiduciary services to African connected and UK resident families for over 100 years. Providing international fiduciary services from Jersey and Mauritius, Standard Bank specialises in providing bespoke estate and succession planning structures to high net worth and ultra-high net worth families and corporates.

Standard Bank has recently been shortlisted for Trust Company of the Year in the 2024 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards, as well as Trust Company of the Year – Jersey in the 2024 Citywealth IFC Awards. This year, the trust company was shortlisted for the eprivateclient Excellence Awards, received bronze for Trust Company of the Year in the 2023 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards, Silver for Trust Company of the Year – Jersey in the 2023 Citywealth IFC awards, and in addition, a number of team members were recognised for industry awards, as Trustee of the Year in Jersey and the Channel Islands, Nextgen Leader, Future Leaders, and Women of the Year.
