Jersey Finance Celebrates the Empowerment of 100,000 Women
Allan Wood, Head of Global Business Development, and Faizal Bhana, Director for Middle East, Africa, and India, were guests at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women’s event yesterday. The event marked the successful conclusion of the foundation’s ambitious ‘100,000 Women’ campaign, which concluded at the end of last year.
Over the span of three years, from 2019 to 2022, the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women supported more than 100,000 women entrepreneurs in middle and low income countries, including Kenya and Nigeria. The foundation’s efforts have played a crucial role in empowering women to start, grow and sustain their businesses, resulting in a significant positive impact on a global scale.
The event celebrated the remarkable achievements of the campaign and extended congratulations to the founder, Cherie Blair, and her dedicated team for their commitment and efforts.
