Staff from Jersey Finance, together with friends and family, took part in this year’s Jersey Dragon Boat Festival to raise funds for Jersey Hospice Care.
The rowers raised more than £1,000 for the charity, through activities including cake sales, a quiz night and a car boot sale. This put them in the Top Five Community Fundraisers for 2019. They secured 13th place in the competition, with over 50 teams taking part.
Over the festival’s twenty years, it has raised over £650,000 for Jersey Hospice Care, a palliative care service for terminally ill islanders.
The event was sponsored by Condor Ferries and hosted by the Ports of Jersey.
