Jersey has once again been crowned ‘International Financial Centre (IFC) of the Year’ at the annual Citywealth IFC Awards 2024 – the eleventh time Jersey has won the accolade.

The awards ceremony took place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel St. Paul’s in London this week (24 January) and was hosted by BBC News presenter and journalist Tim Willcox. Jersey Finance’s Director in London, Robert Moore, accepted the award at the event.

Now in their thirteenth year, the awards highlight the excellence of advisers and managers in the private wealth sector across major IFCs. They are judged by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from all sectors, and winners are selected based on their achievements, their innovative approach and their clear expertise.

Joe Moynihan, Chief Executive Officer of Jersey Finance, commented:

“Jersey has been a leading international finance centre for more than 60 years. Thanks to its forward-thinking approach and collective experience and talent pool, Jersey is at the forefront of financial services including banking, corporate services, funds, capital markets structuring, investment management and private wealth.

“Our long-term success in awards like this recognises our ability to deliver consistently as a world-leading jurisdiction, thanks to our resilience and adaptability, and our innovation in growing areas such as fintech and sustainable finance.”
