Viberts has strengthened its Corporate Law team with the appointment of Senior Associate, English Solicitor Nic Le Breuilly.

Nic joins following several years in a market leading banking and finance team at a major offshore law firm, specialising in real estate finance, acquisition finance and fund finance. During this time he advised global banks, financial institutions, private equity firms and family offices in several high profile, cross-jurisdiction transactions.

In May 2022 Nic was part of the team advising the joint lead managers (including Barclays Bank plc, HSBC Bank plc, Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets plc and RBC Europe Limited) in respect of the £500 million bond issuance by the States of Jersey.

Nic’s practice includes general corporate, regulatory and finance matters.

Graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2001, Nic pursued a successful career as a musician in London’s West End, working as a keyboard player and conductor for several award-winning productions. Nic subsequently passed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course with BPP University, achieving distinctions in both, before qualifying as an English solicitor in 2018.

Nic has recently completed the Jersey advocate exams and will be sworn in as an Advocate in late 2023.
