We are delighted to announce that Sanmari Crous, Business Development Manager for Standard Bank’s International Fiduciary Services, has been named one of the 2023 eprivateclient Channel Islands NextGen Leaders.

The list recognises rising stars in the private client profession across Jersey and Guernsey. The annual listing has replaced the eprivateclient Channel Islands Top 35 Under 35, and celebrates the top professionals in the wealth management community with 20 years or less industry experience, including those specialising in trust and fiduciary services, private client tax, accounting, dispute resolution and family law.

Sanmari, a South African qualified lawyer and Certified Financial Planner professional, joined Standard Bank’s International Fiduciary Services’ Jersey based team in March 2022, using her experience to support the business implement its marketing and growth strategies. She recently completed a postgraduate diploma with STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) in Private Client Advice, and was named an eprivateclient Channel Islands Top 35 under 35 in 2022. Beyond her professional achievements, Sanmari raises funds for charity through an annual South African food and crafts event in Jersey.

This accolade follows Sanmari being shortlisted for the Citywealth 2023 Future Leaders Awards, together with Anna-Marie Egre, a trust relationship manager at Standard Bank. Meanwhile, the International Fiduciary Services Team was named Institutional Trust Company of the Year in the 2022 Wealthbriefing Awards and a Magic Circle Trust Company by Citywealth in their 2023 Magic Circle Awards.
