With more than 25 years’ experience in the private client industry, Emma believes in the importance of a trusted relationship with clients and having a team that understands a family’s unique circumstances, culture and dynamics. Joining an established team in Jersey that administers a variety of international corporate and fiduciary structures holding a range of assets from discretionary portfolios and property to private company shares, Emma’s appointment will ensure that clients continue to receive the dedicated and bespoke service which has led clients to choose Standard Bank’s fiduciary services through the second and even third generation.
“The complexities and dynamics of high-net-worth families, the asset classes they hold and the ever-increasing financial services regulations in which we operate meant it was important for me to find a stable, yet visionary, trust company to join. I have been impressed with the longevity and experience of the team at Standard Bank as well as their overriding commitment to deliver a true private client service. I look forward to contributing to their goals in the service of our clients,” says Emma.
Emma has held a number of senior and board positions at international trust companies based in Jersey, Switzerland, and Mauritius, and has extensive experience working with clients from Africa and Asia through to Switzerland and the UK. A full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Emma holds a Chartered Institute of Bankers qualification alongside a BA (Hons) degree in Financial Services.
Jonathan Sprigg, Head of International Fiduciary Services at Standard Bank, said:
“We are extremely pleased that Emma has chosen to join our team. Her extensive experience in leading large and complex client matters across various jurisdictions will be invaluable as we continue to grow our team and strengthen our service offering.
