UBS Global Wealth Management announced that William (“Will”) Grant, a Global Financial Intermediaries (“GFIM”) Client Advisor in the firm’s Jersey office, has received a Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment Level 6 certificate in Private Client Investment Advice and Management.

“Will continuously provides his clients with the highest level of expert financial support with a responsive, personal service,” said Helen Ollivro, Head of Financial Intermediaries at UBS Global Wealth Management in Jersey. “It’s truly gratifying to see him acknowledged for his long-standing dedication to expanding his expertise. This Level 6 certification demonstrates Will’s exceptional understanding of the principles of private client investment advice and how those principles are integrated into the exemplary support he provides. We offer Will our sincerest congratulations on this excellent achievement.”

At UBS, Will holds responsibility for the development and acquisition of new external asset manager relationships, covering the UK and Channel Islands. Recently promoted to Director, he is the first point of contact for new intermediaries in Jersey who are looking to engage with UBS custodial and transactional capabilities as an external asset manager.

Will joined UBS in 2008 as a Client Advisor on the UK and Jersey Quality Desk and has worked in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years. His commitment and attention to detail of client needs led to him becoming Head of the UK & Quality Desk in January 2012, where he led a team that specialized in providing support to UK based clients who have offshore banking requirements. Will has become well-known in the industry for his established leadership qualities and ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
