Overview

Recognising our industry’s leading firms in sustainable finance for each key sector in Jersey’s industry (one sub-category award per sector):

  • Banking
  • Corporate Services
  • Funds
  • Investment Management
  • Private Wealth
  • Professional Services

As a result, awards in this category will go to the firm in each sector which best exemplifies the embedding of environmental, social and governance factors into its business activities. Specific attention will be paid to activities in the financial services space which support the transition to a more sustainable economy, contributing to the allocation of capital that supports long-term environmental and social development goals. However, to demonstrate leadership in their sector, firms would also be expected to have a strong culture of corporate social responsibility that shows a commitment to operating as a sustainable business.

An individual firm may submit a nomination for more than one sectoral category if its activities in Jersey span several sectors – however, each sectoral nomination will be considered separately on its merits by reference to other submissions in each relevant sector.

Submissions should explain and give examples of internal and external ESG integration and leadership at a local level in Jersey. Group-level credentials, standards and accreditations may be relevant, but only to the extent that these have a demonstrable impact on the relevant activities conducted in Jersey.
