This could be through recognition of the individual as an industry thought leader, their role in driving change within the Member firm or the wider sector, engagement in the local or global transition to a sustainable economic model, or academic achievements.
This is a single award that is designed to recognise a Jersey-based key individual within a Member firm who has made an outstanding contribution to furthering Jersey’s pathway to being a sustainable IFC.
The judges (acting unanimously) may also, at their discretion, give an “Honourable Mention” to recognise any individual within a Member firm whose contribution or achievements in the field of sustainable finance are such that they deserve particular acknowledgement, even though they do not qualify for the Outstanding Contribution Award at this time. The Honourable Mention could be used for instance to reward future leaders who have already demonstrated their commitment re-shaping Jersey’s financial sector to deliver sustainable outcomes.

This category is designed to reward an individual whose contribution to embedding sustainable finance into the financial services sector in Jersey supports the wider strategy outlined in Jersey for Good – A Sustainable Future.

Judges will also consider whether the individual in question is recognised by their industry peers or clients as a subject matter expert on sustainable finance.
What information should I include on the nomination form?
Nomination forms should provide details of the individual’s achievements in the sustainable finance space, with examples and credentials wherever possible.
Evidence of particular academic qualifications by the individual may be relevant. It will also be helpful to outline the relevant qualities / and attributes of the individual as a leader in sustainable finance.
