Deloitte has announced that Partner, Adam Cichocki will lead the firm’s Assurance and Advisory teams across Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar.

The news follows Deloitte’s recent announcement of its Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and Gibraltar offices joining forces to create a single audit, assurance and advisory offering across the four offshore jurisdictions.

Adam has relocated to Jersey from Gibraltar to assume his new role. Adam has almost 20 years of professional service experience providing financial, regulatory and digital assurance and advisory services to a range of Financial Services, Gaming and Public Sector organisations.

Before taking on this new role, Adam spent three years in Gibraltar as the Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Gibraltar office.

The transition reflects increased demand for a wide range of assurance and advisory services as the Islands and Gibraltar meet the opportunities and challenges created by the Covid-19 pandemic, climate change, digitalization, decentralised finance (DeFi), cyber threats and increasing compliance requirements.

Adam will work closely with Deloitte Directors, Simeon Moss and Sally Rochester. Simeon leads Jersey’s assurance and advisory team and advisory consulting, digital and intelligent automation, cyber, data and analytics services.

Sally Rochester continues her lead in Guernsey as well as the delivery of regulatory, financial crime and sustainability services alongside Internal audit and controls work.

Both directors will be growing their respective teams whilst maintaining their ownership across key service areas.

The Deloitte assurance and advisory team offers multi-sector services and AI-driven solutions spanning strategy, advisory, remediation and project delivery.

Partner Theo Brennand said: ‘We warmly welcome Adam to Jersey and to his new role across the four jurisdictions. Adam’s extensive experience adds a great deal of support for our new collaborative approach across the offices.

Adam said: ‘Our Assurance and Advisory services are focused on building trust and confidence in business and protecting the public interest. The breadth and depth of expertise in our team and our ability to work seamlessly across the islands and Gibraltar allows us to continue bringing the very best local knowledge and world-class capabilities to our clients.’

Deloitte is unique in that all four offshore offices are part of Deloitte UK, meaning that the firm’s clients have always been able to tap into over 22,000 professionals. Through this approach, the professional services firm can offer unparalleled sector and subject specialist expertise.
