Our 2023 Life in Finance scheme has drawn to a close with the end of the summer holidays. It was amazing to see over 20 students get placed with local Jersey firms to get a taste for what the finance industry could offer them.
We believe that this scheme is extremely beneficial for our local students, as it not only offers you the opportunity to get first-hand experience it also allows you to discount ones that may not be a best fit. Not only that, but it also looks great on your CV when you first start looking for a job.
We have received amazing feedback from students and firms alike, and we were also grateful to be able to record a podcast with one of the students and their mentor. Hear from Hannah Graviou from Langham Hall and her Life in Finance student, Anya Nightingale-Bataille, as they discuss their experience of the scheme.
