Since its inception in 2013, our Life in Finance scheme has seen us place over 150 students with work experience placements with our Member firms.
Helping to bust the myth that you have to be an expert number-cruncher, the scheme sets out to showcase the huge variety of roles available within the industry. These include administration, marketing, human resources, accountancy, legal, events, compliance, project management, business development and much more; there are roles to suit all skill sets.
How it works
Life in Finance offers Year 12 students a chance to learn about the working world, enhance their CV and develop their soft skills. It is also a great opportunity for our Member firms to interact with the future workforce and teach them new skills and build relationships.
Some members of our Jersey Finance team will be going into schools to tell students more about the scheme and how they can apply.
If you know any students that are interested in the scheme, make sure to tell them to keep a look out for Jersey Finance at their school!
