Jersey Finance recognises the importance of wellbeing within the workplace and aims to encourage and promote this throughout all of our offices and to all of our staff, however the last few months has proven how important emotional and mental wellbeing is for our staff and for us, as a business.
Jersey Finance has put together a number of new initiatives to support the wellbeing of our staff during these unprecedented times. Some of these new initiatives include:
Weekly Photo Challenge
Using our internal virtual platform, each week our staff are set with a topic and are asked to share a photo where other staff members can vote and choose their favourite. The photo that receives the most votes, chooses the topic for the following week. We have covered everything from favourite animal or pet to the things that we have missed most during lockdown.
Weekly Virtual Quiz
Each Friday afternoon the team come together to participate in a weekly team quiz with our families, it is a great opportunity to catch up and get the whole household involved.
Token of Appreciation
To thank our staff for their continued work and support each staff member received a token of appreciation in the form of a fruit or vegetable box or a baking box.
Every Wednesday we share a new wellbeing activity or tip that we recommend staff try to support their wellbeing. These activities have ranged from a virtual step challenge, mindfulness, self-care and also yoga and we ask staff to share their experience to help other members of the team.
We are proud of our business and everyone within it and will strive to continue to support and encourage wellbeing within the workplace.
